Our livestock live most of their happy lives outdoors with freedom to roam, trees to shade and grass to graze.

We believe in nurturing every aspect of the surrounding environment from the soil to the insects and the birds to the trees for a harmonious ecosystem that supports all animals.

Our meat boxes are produced on-site in our butchery with delivery to surrounding areas, helping you achieve low food miles and enjoy the premium taste.

Low Food Miles

Everything we sell is reared here on Garth Farm. We use local abattoirs within a 30 minute drive which minimises stress on the animal and our carbon footprint.

  • Wales’ native breed are hardy and suited to the rough terrain. Slow-grown meat with development of intramuscular fat.

  • Our grandfather started Garth Farm primarily with a flock of these resilient sheep and we continue to celebrate the native hill breed today.

  • We’ve recently introduced Welsh Pigs to Garth Farm with their hardy nature and unrivalled taste.
